Lindy Hop

There's no hopping involved in Lindy Hop, you'll be glad to know. On the contrary, it's a smooth dance with a flowing style that closely reflects the music it's danced to - from late 1920s hot jazz to big-band swing of the 1940s.

The teacher

Al Jones has been dancing, teaching and promoting Lindy Hop in the north of England for almost two decades.

Along with a lovely bunch of teachers and dancers from the local scene and university society, she will be bringing the Lindy alive for you!
