Find your dance

Come along to the Dance Spot, Meanwood Festival's celebration of all the fun dances you can learn in Leeds!

See the dance demos between the live bands on Sunday 26th May at Music on t'Pitch (in Meanwood Cricket Club's grounds next to the Myrtle Tavern). Then try out all the ones you fancy at our free taster classes for beginners on Bank Holiday Monday. Read on for all the details!

Watch the demos

We'd love to see you at the Dance Spot: quite literally, the place to spot the style of dance that appeals most to you.

Dance Spot dance demos will be running right alongside the main stage at Meanwood Cricket Club's grounds next to the Myrtle Tavern throughout Sunday's music festival on the 26th May (12pm to 7pm). Stop by and see us... then register for the taster classes you'd like to try.

Warning: learning to dance can radically change your life!

Book a taster class

Taster classes will run from 1pm to 6pm on Bank Holiday Monday 27th May at Holy Trinity community hall, Meanwood. Then, from 6pm to 10pm, we'll have an evening dance with live music from The David Broad Trio, so you can try out your new moves!

No partner required and no fancy shoes necessary - just normal shoes with slippy soles and a smile! Click the dance (or dances) below to find out more about them...
